Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, stressed the speed of registration of the new comprehensive health insurance hospitals in the accreditation and control body, one of the new health insurance bodies responsible for the accreditation of hospitals to be added to the new system according to quality standards.
The meeting took place on Monday evening with the organizers of the new system of health insurance in Port Said to follow up the pilot operation of the new system, which was inaugurated on July 1.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesman of the ministry, said that the meeting dealt with the latest developments in the experimental operation in terms of frequency of citizens to the family medicine units to open the medical files and the number of operations and tests carried out for the citizens who were transferred from the units to the hospitals of the new system, By attracting citizens and their keenness to join the new system.
He pointed out that the meeting dealt with discussing the final organizational structure of the new health insurance hospitals, in order to achieve governance. He pointed out that the minister stressed the need to comply with all standards of quality and accreditation, whether in hospitals or family medicine units.
